The Norberg story

the musician.

Norberg is led by Slava Sles and Todd Adam Scott, bringing performance, teaching and technical experience to the instruments we offer.

Todd’s experience as a concert pianist and piano technician guides the design of the Norberg piano line. His attention is on the relationship between the player and the instrument: its response, its voice, and the way a musical phrase carries.

Slava brings an international performer’s perspective, alongside her work as an educator and founder of Slava Music Academy.

Slava Sles

Slava Sles

President & owner

An opera performer and educator with performances in 19 countries, international competition honours, and appearances at the European Parliament. Founder of Slava Music Academy.

Slava Sles is an opera singer of Ukrainian-Croatian heritage who has performed in 19 countries.

Slava has won first prizes in Finland and the Czech Republic, including at the International Art Duo Music Competition.

Slava is extremely well educated in many musical fields from the prestigious Drahamanov National Pedagogical University holding Bachelor Degrees in: Bandura Instruction; Artist Performance Bandura; Conductor; Choir; and Orchestra.

In Kiev University, Slava holds Bachelor Degrees in Bandura Performance, Bandura Instructor, Conductor of Ensemble and Orchestra, and Psychology Therapist. She holds Master Degrees in Opera Performance, Conductor of Choir, Conductor or Orchestra, Vocal Performance, Vocal Instructor / Coach with her second Instrument being piano.

Due to her outstanding honors and talents, Slava was selected to represent Ukraine and Ukrainian culture throughout Europe in 18 countries and has performed in the European Parliament of Brussels and Strasbourg.

Slava is the founder of Slava Music Academy and the owner of Norberg Pianos Inc.

Todd Adam Scott

Registered Piano Technician & piano designer

Todd began his piano technician career at eleven and went on to become a Registered Piano Technician. He combines his work as a concert pianist with his technical experience as piano designer of the Norberg piano line.
