Your information is used to answer your inquiry and provide any appraisal you separately request. A free review does not sign you up for marketing.

Who to contact

This website is operated by Norberg Pianos Inc., an Alberta corporation, trading as Norberg Pianos. For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests, email norbergpianos@gmail.com. Do not include sensitive identity documents.

No sales pressure. No selling your details. No spam.

We use your name, email address and other inquiry details only to answer your inquiry and provide any appraisal you separately request. We never sell your name or email address, add you to a mailing list, or send unsolicited sales pitches. A free review does not oblige you to purchase anything. Our hosting and Google delivery providers process information as described below; this is not permission to market to you.

What this website does

The free-review form prepares your details and preliminary guidance on your device. Nothing is sent until you choose Send my free review. At that point, your information and chosen photos are submitted to Google for email delivery to Norberg Pianos. Reloading before submission may discard your entries. Preliminary guidance is rules-based, uses your answers only, and does not analyze photographs or determine value.

What you may choose to share

The form asks for your name, reply email, city and province, piano type, approximate age, brand name, playing condition and purpose. You may also choose to share a phone number, model, serial number, dimensions, acquisition and service history, soundboard or player-system details, photographs, a photo/video album link, preferred times, an intended report recipient, valuation date or deadline. These details help Norberg Pianos assess whether a consultation is suitable and respond to your inquiry. Provide only what is necessary. Please exclude street addresses, identity documents, completed tax forms, account numbers, faces, financial records and other private household information. Photo files can contain embedded location or device metadata; remove this before sharing if it is not needed.

When information leaves your device

Selecting Send my free review or Check & send my piano details sends your details and selected photos through Google to norbergpianos@gmail.com. Our hosting provider forwards the request to a Norberg-owned Google Apps Script. Inquiry details and delivery status are saved in a private Google Sheet; photos are included in the email to our Gmail inbox. A pseudonymous sender identifier is retained with the inquiry to limit spam. See Google’s privacy policy. Norberg Pianos and its email provider Gmail process the delivered inquiry to assess suitability and reply. These providers may process information internationally. Do not submit tax forms, account numbers, identity documents or other highly sensitive records.

Local downloads and photographs

A downloaded request package contains your entered information and any selected photo files. Anyone with access to that ZIP may read them. Save it on a device you control, review its contents and delete it when no longer needed. The free-review form sends selected photo files as supplied. The detailed appraisal form may resize and re-encode large images to make phone uploads practical; originals remain on your device. Small files may be sent unchanged. Do not assume all image metadata has been removed.

Hosting and other services

The hosting provider may process technical information, including IP addresses, request times, browser information and security logs, when delivering the site. Their handling is governed by the provider’s policies. The website adds no advertising or analytics. Submitting a review uses our server and Google; the form applies submission limits to reduce spam.

Use, access and retention

Your inquiry is intended for assessing suitability, communicating with you and, if separately agreed, providing the consultation. It is not consent to marketing.

We keep inquiries, photographs and appraisal records only as long as needed to answer your inquiry, complete any agreed appraisal and meet applicable legal or recordkeeping obligations. Access is limited to people who need the information for those purposes. When records are no longer needed, we delete them from our active records. You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing norbergpianos@gmail.com; we will explain if a legal or recordkeeping obligation requires us to retain particular records.

You may ask about access, correction, consent withdrawal or deletion at the contact email above. Applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements may affect what can be deleted.

Urgent inquiries by text

Please email or submit your inquiry first. If you choose to text “Piano appraisal urgent” to our business contact number, include only your name and the reply email used so we can match your inquiry. Your messaging provider processes the text separately from this website. We use it to locate and prioritize your request, not to enroll you in marketing. An immediate response is not guaranteed.
